Live. Love. Wander.
Hi, I’m Evon – a storyteller with a camera in one hand and too many feelings in the other.
I created Monday Made Me Do It as a quiet rebellion against perfection, pressure, and the polite silence that often swallows what we really feel.
This is where I share photographs, poems, and stories that aren’t polished to please – but made to move you.
I believe the best art doesn’t impress.
It unearths.
It pulls something from your chest – a memory, a laugh, a pang of recognition – and whispers,
“See? You’re not alone.”
My journey with photography began as a way to share the world with my brother, Barney.
He was the first person I’d show every photo to.
My fiercest supporter. My most relentless teaser.
When he passed away in 2022, I put the camera down.
Because the instinct to show him what I made with my camera never went away.
And the ache that followed felt impossible to photograph through.
But now I understand:
Every image I create is still a
conversation with him—
and with everyone who’s ever loved, lost,
or longed to feel something real.
And somewhere along the way, this space became more than a place to share art.
It became a place to rebuild.
To think more honestly.
To feel more deeply.
To choose a different way of living -
slowly, intentionally, and on my own terms.
So if you're here because something in your life no longer fits...
You're not alone in that either.
And if you want a gentle place to begin again, I created something to help:

Welcome to Monday Made Me Do It.
Where art feels first.
And everything else comes second.
